Forever single
This isn’t about self pity, although I’m pitiful
This isn’t about depression, although I’m depressed
This isn’t about grief, although I’m grieving
This isn’t about misery, although I’m miserable
And it’s not about rejection, although I’m rejected
This is for those who will be forever single

I am bound to be forever single
I had a perfect love and I fucked it up
To the biggest extent of the word and then times that by 10
“FUCKED IT UP” will never explain what I did
Such petty words can’t shine light on something so shaded
At the time I thought this love thing was over rated
I pulled the plug and look what it got me
Pessimism, depression, grief, misery, u name it I got it
The problem is that now I am forever branded by her and her by me
Wide open pain for everyone to see
Everyone sees it and knows to stay back
A nice little sign that says “this guy is whack”
Can’t say that I don’t disagree
I threw away a perfect love so yeah shame on me
I don’t deserve any love or laughter
From this day forth and any there after
So the jury cast me into exile
And exiled I shall be
Forever single
Alone
Just me
