Christopher Max - I Burn For You

This is one of the best hidden gem released in the late 80's.

Christopher Max, formerly Khris McDaniels, sons of the legendary Gene McDaniels. After forming several groups and writing a number of songs as a songwriter, he pursued his solo career.

This song, he originally wrote with David Foster for the blockbuster "The Secret of My Success" starring Michael J.Fox, performed by Danny Peck and Nancy Shanks.

And this version, included in his first solo installment "Let's Get Physical" produced by Nile Rogers of Chic, has a lot more NY-urban contenporary R&B sorta feels into it. Big hand to Mr.Rogers.

This music, has been his first and so far the last works to date hence, I hope to hear something new from him someday soon.
