Description
His youth passes him by,
With little rhyme or reason,
Memories never there,
Not meant to be,
Time tells all,
And this story remains,
As it was,
Alone is all he was,
Sweet embraces,
And forget me nots,
They where never there,
Love is all he wanted,
Love is all he needed,
But now it’s too late,
As the past catches up to him,
Always running,
To escape what he was,
The agony beckons him once again,
Ghosts of past trauma returns,
How can this be,
All the fingers point his way,
His whole life,
One big lie,
Running from all the things he fears,
Blissfully telling himself,
It’ll be ok,
Knowing full well,
Within his heart he ached for something more…
