What does it take to get 60 very individual women to work together in perfect harmony? Sally McLean, the talented and single minded musical director of the White Rosettes, knows. She's led the Leeds-based chorus to unprecedented levels of success in the little-known, and surprisingly hard-fought, world of competitive barbershop singing. Now the group face their biggest challenge yet - seeking the prestigious title of Choir of the Year at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. This is "Calendar Girls" meets "Glee" - or, to put it another way, the Women's Institute with barbershop harmonies (but without nudity).
