Simple Homemade Chicken Burger Recipe

Cut chicken breast in half. Wrap chicken lightly in plastic wrap and pound until it flattens.

Add 1 tbsp of hot sauce to the buttermilk and marinate. Leave it to rest for 1 hour.

After 1 hour add oil to frying pan then start making the batter.
Take 1 egg in a bowl and add about 1 tbsp of the buttermilk sauce to the bowl.

Add a pinch of salt and a few drops of black pepper powder to it and whisk.

Take a separate bowl and add 1 cup of plain flour, 1 tbsp of corn starch, 1 ½ salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1tsp chilli powder, 1tsp chili flakes and mix well with a spoon.

Dip the chicken in the egg batter and then add of the flour mixture and dip in the egg batter again and repeat to the flour.

Add to oil in medium heat and let it cook for 3 minutes or each side.

Prepare sauce with 1 tbsp mayonnaise, ½ tsp ketchup, ½ chilli sauce and start plating your delicious homemade chicken burger.
