Chhattisgarh assembly ratifies GST bill

Raipur, Aug 22 (ANI): After the Parliament green signalled the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill earlier this month, Chhattisgarh assembly ratified the same today. Extending his congratulations to the state assembly, Chief Minister Raman Singh said that the step will boost economy in the next five years time. Chhattisgarh has become the fifth state to pass the bill after Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Jharkhand.
