You're lying on the floor
As your soul runs out of your body
Along with the blood you get from the bullet
That is now fully imbedded into your brain
Your eyes are like marbles
Lips a soft blue
Your brightly paled skin
Tells me that you've given up
You let life take it's toll
Your body is a shell
Of the person I once loved
I lay my lips upon your head
I feel the coldness within you
Kissing the last little hope away
Now you are free
And I am still here
