Since the dawn of rock 'n', radio stations, television networks and even entire countries have sought to silence the controversial musicians making their music, video, and, in some cases, the artists themselves less accessible to the public. Although it is not one of the more extreme examples, it was one of the first artists to clash with the conservative authorities.
