CELAC summit underway in Costa Rica

Leaders of Latin America and the Caribbean have gathered in Costa Rica for the two-day summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC). Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Bolivian President Evo Morales each issued statements in advance of their arrival. Cuban President Raul Castro told the summit that the re-establishment of relations between the United States and Cuba was a victory for all of the Americas, and reiterated Havana's demand that the US blockade be lifted and Guantanamo be returned to Cuba. teleSUR
