CBI files second affidavit on coalgate

The CBI on Monday (May 6) filed its second affidavit on the coal scam, specifying the details of the alterations made to the status report at the behest of the Law Minister Ashwani Kumar. TIMES NOW has accessed a copy of the CBI's affidavit that also states that lines were deleted from the report and certain lines were incorporated by Ashwani Kumar, the PMO and coal ministry officials. More critically, the report also says that fresh guidelines were set at that stage which didn't exist when original coal block allocations were done.
