IV) Carpet Shears are used to cut and trim seam edges in a woven or knitted carpet.

7. A heat bond iron is used to seam or join two pieces of a carpet.
A spiked carpet roller could then be used to roll out bonded carpet seams.

8. I) To stretch the carpet, a knee kicker could be used to push the edge of the carpet up to the wall.
II) A knee kicker is commonly used to stretch a carpet in small areas such as a closet or stairs.
III) A power stretcher is a longer tool which is used to stretch a carpet in larger areas. A power stretcher creates a lot more pressure and stretches the carpet with greater force when compared to a knee kicker.
IV) Carpet stair tools could be used to push the carpet into the fold when laying a carpet on stairs.
V) A staple gun is finally used to staple and fix the carpet into position.
