The report further revealed that recorded road accidents in Delhi have gone up to 8,623 in 2014, which was steadily coming down to 8,085 in 2015. Followed by 7,375 in 2016 claiming death of 1,671 people. Experts attributed the lowering numbers to a proportional increase in vehicular congestion in the Capital.
