Cape Town cops back in the dock for brutality

Description
Warrant officer David Gunn and Gerrit Januarie were identified in video footage in Cape Town’s city centre in March.
Both accused are no longer working for the police service.
The Right 2 Know Campaign says the officers have failed in their duty to serve and protect.
“We have a situation now where instead of the police to protect the people and to make sure that the criminals are arrested, the police are now turning into criminals and beating up people.”
In was previously reported that it appeared the Nigerian victim was assaulted before police got hold of him.
Reports claimed Clement Emekensha first came under attack in a sports bar before police arrived.
One of the accused is the owner of the bar.
