And so the road goes ever on
A winding road to walk upon
With many trials up ahead
Which one of us would dare to tread?

A trail like this, so it would seem
Is always felt, but never seen
Often walked in pairs of two
But so too walked as one, do you?

It bends and drops
Twists and tops
Tread with care
Do you dare?

Must we all this some day walk
Or is this road all simply talk?
If we, this journey, all must take
Is there salvation in its wake?

Redemption comes! O! Behold!
To those who tread this road, be bold
Where does it end, this path we tread?
This path, it ends when we are dead.
