Build A Better School P.S 43

Four schools each won $5,000 while the top winner was School by the Sea in Far Rockaway, Queens, which collected $10,000 to fix classrooms damaged by superstorm Sandy. The Municipal Credit Union sponsored the contest. Students from 61 city schools submitted videos asking for grants to buy classroom materials and tools to aid their lessons in the “Build a Better School” contest sponsored by the Municipal Credit Union.
