Buddha—one religion; different forms.

Gautama Buddha is a significant being for the Buddhists. He was the founder of Buddhism which made him the primary symbol of the said religion. In addition, Buddha originated from Kapilavastu or Nepal in our times, which also means “the awakened one or the enlightened one”. The Museum Traben-Trarbach kept different forms and sizes of Buddha. This museum in Moselle Valley is, indeed, the home of the unique collections of Buddha. Moselle Valley sees symbiotic relationship on their traditional wine culture with the Asian Buddha’s teachings, philosophy, and religion. In 2009, they had their exhibition of Buddha’s art showcased in Old Art Nouveau Wine Cellar. Not only a presentation of sculptures of Buddha. But also a showcased through large screen TV and multimedia components that was brought by modern technology.
