BTS #17 | Tero Risti - Diggers | Animated Blu-Ray Menu

The animated menu for Diggers is set in the luxury bot district — the world above, built on the labor of everyone below.

Oversized metal towers punching through a yellow sky. Air so thick with smog that nothing alive could breathe it. And everywhere, piled up around the buildings, the waste of everything the luxury bots consumed and discarded. A world built entirely on excess, and it shows in every corner of it.

This is what the slave bots are working for. They will never see it.

This is part of an ongoing BTS series where I document inerestin parts of the production process behind my 3D music videos, including breakdowns of older projects. Whether it's modeling, lighting, rendering, or animation, I'll be pulling back the curtain a little on how these videos were made.
