BTS #14 | Tero Risti - Diggers | Animatic | Before the Robot Snapped

Every revolution starts somewhere. For "Diggers" it started with these sketches.

This is the animatic — the storyboard in motion that I used to plan out the whole video before touching any 3D software. The story follows a tunnel-drilling robot who's been underground doing the dirty work while luxury bots live it up above, until he finally decides he's done with that arrangement.

Here's how that was planned shot by shot: the pacing, the camera work, and the rough visual language before it all became a fully rendered 3D world.
