BSE closes 72.22 points down on April 1

New Delhi, April 1 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 72.22 points down to stand at 25,269.64. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 25.35points down to stand at 7,713.05.Den Networks Ltd and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 13.82% and 11.65% along with Great Eastern Shipping Co.Ltd and Tube Investments of India Ltd with an increase of 8.03% and 8.01% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes MPHASIS Ltd and Bharti Airtel Ltd with a decrease of 4.57% and 4.46% along with Bosch Ltd and Nestle India Ltd with a decrease of 4.27% and 3.02% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down118.08 points at 17883.68 while the Banking sector is up 52.99 points at 18444.95 and the Realty sector is up 36.49 points at 1264.84.The Indian currency was up with 0.02% with Rs. 66.26 per dollar.
