BSE closes 463.63 points up on March 2

New Delhi, Mar 2 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 463.63 points up to stand at 24,242.98. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 146.55 points up to stand at 7,368.85.Corporation Bank and State Bank Of India were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 12.56 % and 11.50 % along with Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd and Strides Shasun Ltd with an increase of 11.29 % and 10.80 % respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd and United Spirits Ltd with a decrease of 5.31 % and 4.93 % along with Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Ltd and ICRA LTD with a decrease of 4.11 % and 3.90 % at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 80.23 points at 16596.41while the Banking sector is up 804.91 points at 17179.43 and the Realty sector is up 55.33 points at 1150.71.The Indian currency was down with 0.33 % at Rs. 67.63 per dollar.
