BSE closes 42.24 points down on April 22

New Delhi, April 22 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 42.24 points down to stand at 25,838.14. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 12.75 points down to stand at 7,899.30. Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd and Reliance Communications Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 17.06% and 5.46% along with Bhushan Steel Ltd and IFCI Ltd with an increase of 5.45% and 5.21% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Cyient Limited and Gateway Distriparks Ltd with a decrease of 5.75% and 4.73% along with Crompton Greaves Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd with a decrease of 3.01% and 2.98% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 160.96 points at 18700.37 while the Banking sector is up 83.94 points at 19035.40 and the Realty sector is down 4.40 points at 1307.63. The Indian currency was up at 0.25% with Rs. 66.56 per dollar.
