BSE closes 33.71 points down on May 6
Description
New Delhi, May 6 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 33.71 points down to stand at 25,228.50. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 2.05 points down to stand at 7,733.45. IDFC Limited and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 11.93% and 8.74% along with Karnataka Bank Ltd and Emami Ltd with an increase of 6.93% and 5.77% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Jaypee Infratech Ltd and Hexaware Technologies Ltd with a decrease of 4.52% and 4.51% along with Wockhardt Ltd and Cox & Kings Limited with a decrease of 3.62% and 3.05% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 110.96 points at 18272.53 while the Banking sector is up 30.07 points at 18540.06 and the Realty sector is up 2.40 points at 1334.11. The Indian currency is 0.06% up with Rs. 66.58 per dollar.
