BSE closes 207.27 points down on May 3
Description
New Delhi, May 3 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 207.27 points down to stand at 25,229.70. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed58.90 points down to stand at 7,747.00. Atul Ltd and Gateway Distriparks Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 6.27% and 4.51% along with Aurobindo Pharma Ltd and United Spirits Ltd with an increase of 4.19% and 3.82% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes TVS Motor Company Ltd andCentury Textiles and Industries Ltd with a decrease of 9.66% and 4.20% along with Amtek Auto Ltd and Marico Ltd with a decrease of 4.18% and 3.97% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 62.03 points at 18437.24 while the Banking sector is down 193.92 points at 18665.15 and the Realty sector is up 4.34 points at1353.02. The Indian currency remained unchanged with Rs. 66.44 per dollar.
