BSE closes 12.75 points down on March 8

New Delhi, Mar 8 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 12.75 points up to stand at 24,659.23. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 0.05points down to stand at 7,485.30.Unitech Ltd and Pipavav Defence and Offshore Eng Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 13.25% and 11.47% along with Steel Authority of India Ltd and Hathway Cable and Datacom Ltd with an increase of 8.11% and 7.73 % respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Just Dial Ltd and Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Ltd with a decrease of 13.51% and 4.69 % along with Bank of Baroda and Trent Ltd with a decrease of 4.61 % and 4.23 % at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 6.43 points at 16,970.99 while the Banking sector is down 224.78 points at 17,260.91 and the Realty sector is up 10.56 points at 1,177.65.The Indian currency was up with 0.45% at Rs. 67.38 per dollar.
