Description

Keeping the legs of a horse healthy and strong is essential for being able to ride it or compete in tournaments. Horse legs are very sensitive and therefore prone to smaller injuries like scratches and bruises. To prevent injuries on the horse's legs special leg wraps have been developed - the so-called brushing boots. Brushing boots come in different shapes and designs for the different equestrian disciplines. Mostly, brushing boots consist out of a harder outer shell and a softer neoprene inside cushionung. Brushing boots are applied directly to the horse's legs and cover the fetlock as well. They are closed with a hook-and-loop fastener or snap fasteners. Horse owners and riders can decide individually if they want to apply brushing boots to their horse's legs. It is not an obligation.
