Bruce Larkin - My Circus Life
35 Views • Jun 18, 2014
Description
You have to pay your dues.
I went and joined the circus.
I now shine the clown's shoes.
I'm the new guy here.
I pick up all the trash.
New guys don't get paid much.
I'm kinda short on cash.
When elephants do what elephants do,
Who do they call? They call me.
We don't have one big elephant;
Just my luck, we have three.
I know being in the circus
To most kids sounds real cool.
I'm just waiting for a chance
To run away off to school.
