C is a lovely letter,
It may even be the best.
It’s often better than a D,
For example, on a test.

Imagine a world without C’s.
Bells would merely hime,
And you would have to look at a lok
When you wanted to know the time.

Dogs would hase ats,
While rabbits would eat arrots.
Ats would hase rats,
While ages housed parrots.

But without C’s, don’t fret, don’t fear,
Because one day every year,
Someone will still buy or bake
Just for you a birthday ake.
