'I've never seen such a thing, '
The reluctant diner was heard to mutter
When first offered a sandwich
Of pickles and peanut butter.

'Trying new foods, ' she thought,
'Isn't usually my style, '
But her first cautious bite
Was followed by a big smile.

'Eating PBP's is a treat.
Talking about them will be fun, '
Said the new PBP fan
As she asked for another one!
