Brake Repairs

Description

You should get new brakes when you start noticing clear signs of wear or reduced performance. If you hear a squealing or screeching noise when braking, that usually means the brake pads are getting thin. A grinding sound means the pads are completely worn out and the metal parts are touching, which needs immediate attention. If the car takes longer to stop, the brake pedal feels soft, or the steering wheel vibrates when braking, those are also signs the brakes need to be checked. In general, brake pads last about 30,000 to 70,000 miles depending on your driving style and conditions. It’s a good idea to have them inspected at every oil change or at least twice a year.
