Description
Temperatures in many parts will rise, while some eastern regions that had relatively lower temperatures yesterday will also see temperatures rebounding.
We could see temperatures pass all-time records over the next few days with Seoul expected to rise to 39 degrees Celsius.
Unbearable heat continued overnight, Seoul starts the day at 28 degrees Celsius, other regions wake up to lows of between 23 and 27 degrees. Early morning rain on Jeju Island will let up shortly.
Avoid outdoor activities unless it's absolutely necessary, highs in Seoul will be at 38, Daejeon, Chuncheon and Gyeongju will get up to 37 degrees Celsius.
Extreme UV rays and ozone levels are also in store.
