Borivali, Khar railway stations get makeover

Mumbai, Jan 28 (ANI): Nearly 500 volunteers working with Making A Difference (MAD) NGO set out to beautify the Borivali Railway Station. The volunteers had made a blue print of the designs and images and thereby set out to beautify the railway stations. The volunteers include schoolchildren to working professionals. Ticket windows, pillars, stairs and overhead bridges of the station have been painted with beautiful colours. Paintings on the booking window and eastern end are made on the theme of a national park and the highway, while the west side depicts Gorai and Mandeshwar areas. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will inaugurate the work done by the NGO.
