Blossom Mist - A Mask

Everyday, a mask I put on from dusk till dawn.
I know not if its a habit forced upon.
As I look on, I fail to concur who's reflection it is in the mirror.
They say its me I see, but I remember, I was beautiful like eve.
Now all I see is a mask and me, which I wear n change you see.
I want to be four again, to be able to jump on the lane.
To laugh my wits out n cry out aloud, float on a cloud and lick my porridge
bowl.
To paint with hands and make bubbles dance, race with bikes and chase the mice.
However, hard I try the innocence seems high and dry.
All that I get is a mask and me. The mask which I wear and what people see as me.
