Bijoy Philip - Rape- A confession

The dark weeds and lustful creepers
Scream something with their hairy mouths

And the spent juices of a stale desire
With broken sleep plagued by voices enclosing

Hundreds of them in a zombie like march
In the deserted ramparts of my mind

The sewers emptying their decayed water into the streets
And they squelching through them silently

The birds on the wrinkled twigs have their eyes missing
The butterflies had worms sprouting from their wings

As the frogs licked them off with their spiky tongues
The days and nights clouded with fumes that wake the dead from their graves

And they all marching towards me with the single word
Belching it out from their decayed bellies
