Bernard Snyder - 'Hmmm'

If anyone happens to run across my friend,
tell her ‘I miss our conversations and the cute
‘text messages' she used to send,
I've tried everything from email to
calling both her phones,
maybe she's going through something and
she'd just rather be left alone,
in any event, I hope all is well
and she's just somewhere having fun
and didn't take the wrong turn in the wilderness
and a young cat ended up getting her ‘sprung',
and if that was the case
I wonder why she didn't keep her word,
that no matter how good or bad things got
she would never kick a true friend to the curb!
Hmmm! ! ! !
