Bengaluru Garment workers protest intensifies
Description
Bengaluru, Apr 19 (ANI): Protests staged by around 10,000 garment workers in Bengaluru intensified as the protestors set vehicles ablaze on streets. The protest against the state government's decision of amendment in the employees provident funds has resulted in a clash between workers and the police officials. The police used tear gas shells to disperse the agitated protestors. Meanwhile, a major tragedy was averted as one of the burning vehicle standing near a bulk of cylinders.
