As i sit here alone tonight
My life is fading away
Though it’s not evident
My heart is slowly stopping.

I need you to know this
Maybe if someone cares,
Maybe i can be saved
Will you be that someone i need?

In my life love seems to be rare
Something left behind
My childhood knew of the realities of life
Why was i put through those things?

All i need is someone to guide me
Someone to love me
Someone to care
Just once more I’ll ask for these few things

Maybe this time I’ll receive them
Maybe this time someone will listen
Maybe they’ll hear my screams
Maybe this time pain won’t run free through my veins

Everyone sees the scars up my arm
The results of self-hate
Never trusting those around me
Maybe that’s because no one ever listened

Tonight I’ll ask for truth
Tonight I’ll ask for trust
Tonight I’ll ask for a friend
Tonight I’ll end my life.
