Under which circumstances, if any, do you think a financial institution should apply Artificial Intelligence for loan granting decisions?

The use of Artificial Intelligence should be useful to help financial institutions make better decisions, without neglecting their commitment to their clients and their future. Banks need to cater more to their customer necessities. Nowadays, our lifestyle implies that we need to meet our needs in a shorter term and in a safer way.

In that sense, technology needs to be more efficient when it comes to analyse the economic background of applicants, so financial institutions can have a fast response. Thanks to AI people can share their information easily. The AI has to be ready to evaluate all that information and yield results. It is crucial for the creditor in order to analyse the risk and the motivation to grant the loan. The last financial crisis showed us the importance of understanding the financial situation and liquidity of the debtors. We need better tools to be better financial advisors to our community.
