Be Cautious about Disregarding Longstanding Traditions, Proverbs 22:28
20 Views • Jan 04, 2021
Description
Proverbs 22:28
You shall not move your neighbor's landmark, which the men of old have set, in the inheritance that you will hold in the land that YHVH your God is giving you to possess.
Deuteronomy 19:14
Although these verses are talking about physical land boundaries on the surface, they are also talking about the ideological boundaries that we call traditions.
Traditions sometimes get a bad rap, and there are some bad traditions, but they often exist for our protection. Be very cautious about disregarding a longstanding tradition. There might be a good reason for it.
