Barry Van Allen - A Good Friend

Here's what makes me what I am,
I am concerned about my friends,
I could and should have walked away,
- - - but, didn't.

I took on all the tough stuff with them,
while most thought only of themselves,
they never said 'good-bye', but left ...
to live what they thought life should be.

- - - they never understood ,
- - - that what they thought was good,
- - - is nothing like reality!

Not everyone agrees with me,
but, some will follow me to hell and back,
- - - and we know who we are!
More importantly - - -
we know who isn't there!
