Barry Van Allen - BORNUDE

I was born without my pants on,
and raised within the vaccuum of my childhood,
growing up seems to have only 'happened',
... so here I am today!

Those early years were tough,
I guess they were for everyone,
we somehow made it through them,
again, here we are today!

Some feelings are born of humility,
and some misunderstanding,
many out of a great deal of compassion,
and some are out of selfishness!

The voice within each child,
reaches to be heard ...
too often... way too often,
nobody hears the words!

I do not paint life as dismal,
and hopeless, life IS NOT,
how often do we realize,
what it is we've really got?

It is not gold or endless wealth,
dismiss the thought of youth again,
that is a long - forgone conclusion,
so, celebrate the ' you ' today!

Disappointment rules the globe today,
Disillusionment is king,
We should rejoice and make the choice,
to be happy ...
... because that's all it really is!

NO! ... They say !
you can.t think that way,
It is a gloomy situation,
Until it's good for everyone,
you should feel like hell , too,
even if you do what you can do!

I suppose I should appologise,
for being born without my pants on,
or being born where I was,
But, here I am today!

I can only say...
I will try to make things better,
than they were when I got started!
