Barbara A. McCormick - ENTER
10 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Slipping away, from an endless fight
Unfairly abused, injected by pain
Cluttering with thought, beyond control
Slowly eating away at the heart and soul
Leaving the throb of hurt in the heart to remain.
Feeling the weight of life, and gravity of bitterness.
To learn explosive emotions are better to repress.
Corrupt energy that invades this dwelling
When perceptions are blurred demons intrude
Hopelessly gasping for a breath of rectitude
At times the pressure of walls closing in, is compelling,
Extending lessons left unlearned,
Intense hells fire leaving only ashes burned,
Having the choice between good and evil
To believe nothing can subdue loves power
Though tortured by time, precious each hour
Enter, to capture what life has yet to instill.
