Backscatter, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces and MIMO Communications with a Multipurpose Antenna Array

Live ambient backscatter communication with:
- an ambient communication between a single transmit antenna and a single receive antenna, receving a text.
-a backscatter device with 8 patch antennas communicating with the same single receive antenna, receving and image.
The single receive antenna simultaneously receives the text and the image.
the backscatter device is a multipurpose mutiantennna array which can either operate in a multiple-input multiple output mode, a Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface mode or a Backscatter mode.
In this video, only the Backscatter mode is illustrated.
