Baby Bat Survives Electrocution

Miss Sapphire, an orphan bat whose mom was electrocuted on power lines several weeks before this video was recorded, was rescued by Denise Wade.

Sadly, Sapphire was also hit by the power lines and lost two of her five toes. But the good news is that flying foxes can manage quite well with the remaining toes. It’s onwards and upwards for Miss Sapphire. Credit: Batzilla the Bat via Storyful
