The footsteps you left behind, I followed them to make you mine. When I finally got to know you, I couldn't believe my mind.
When I looked up at the mid-night sky. I asked myself, ' Would he ever do me wrong? ' WHen the answer came to me I said, 'That can't be....' Then the answer became reality, he stopped looking for me. When he stopped looking me in the eye, I asked 'why? '
Why do I have to answer this, I don't want to deal with this, so stop accusing, just let me do me.
These footsteps you left behind were gone like stuff in the sand that got washed away.....
