Ayesha Riaz - Untidy Reflection
1 Views • Jun 15, 2014
Description
There i see my reflection,
My twin,
Just like me from head to toe,
I touch it,
I can't feel it,
Nor the pain,
When i slap it hard,
The old dirty window,
Seems so crystal clear,
The noises seem so pleasant,
But the pleasant seems so noisy,
To me the window looks brand new,
As if someone spent hours on making it shine,
I see my reflection,
When i look in to it,
When i gaze into the eyes,
Of the same me,
I see myself in a block of ice,
Still,
Trapped,
Her mouth is not moving,
But i can hear,
She is calling for help,
She is screaming,
Louder and louder,
I can't bear the loudness,
I want to break the ice,
Let her out,
She's purple by now,
She is looking right in my eyes,
I see hatred in her eyes,
I can't move,
And behind me i can see ice,
Coming towards me,
Trying to curl me up,
And she still screams,
She wants to be out,
She wants to be out,
And i have nothing to get her out,
I have nothing,
Not even myself,
Maybe its just one my untidy illusions,
Or just another: Untidy reflection.
