Ayatekla 'dayız

From the apostles of the Prophet Jesus. The 17-year-old Tekla, influenced by the sermons of Paul (St. Paul), devotes herself to Christianity. When Saint Pavlos travels to Yalvaç, the town of Isparta, to spread his belief, he gives Aya Tekla the task of Christianizing Silifke and its region. That is why Aya Tekla came to Silifke and started to live in the cave which is called Meryemlik today.
