Photo booth rentals have become very popular at many Austin events. An open air photo booth is a great addition to corporate events and parties. If you are unfamiliar with the different photo booth styles, feel free to contact us with questions. We have also put together the below guide to better help determine what is right for you event.

The real question lies in whether to book a more traditional, enclosed style photo booth, or go with a more contemporary, sleek open air photo booth. Photos from a photo booth are great keepsakes for your guests and you can be sure that they won’t end up in the trash or a dusty desk drawer. While both enclosed photo booths and open air photo booths accomplish the same goals of creating high-quality images, we’re here to weigh in on the pros and cons of choosing which style of photo booth you want at your event.

Enclosed Photo Booth:
The enclosed photo booth is a nice way to bring back memories of sitting in a photo booth at the mall and taking silly pictures with your friends. While it does give you more privacy and give you the confidence to be more silly in your poses and prop choices, you might want to be aware of the space it may take up in your venue or home. Another obvious consideration is the the enclosed photo booth fits a significantly less number of people in one picture compared to the open air photo booth. So while you may get a cute picture of you and your hubby or an endearing photo of you and your parents, you may not get a fun snap of you and your bridesmaids or your college buddies.

Open Air Photo Booth: http://www.pixsteraustin.com/#!booth/cxwc
While we do supply enclosed photo booths for our clients, we specialize in open air photo booths, and for good reasons! For one, with our open air photo booths, you are able to fit up to 15 people in one photo, and sometimes more! This allows for everyone to be in one picture altogether and it cuts down on wait time, as the enclosed photo booth can only fit 2-4 people in one picture. In addition, our open air photo booths are much more compact and discrete. They fit into tighter quarters and set-up and take down is faster than setting up and breaking down an enclosed photo booth. An open air photo booth also allows other guests to see what’s happening inside the booth, encouraging them to jump in themselves!
