Astyanax [1990] - NES - Gameplay

Astyanax is apparently a simple side scroller, but on a closer view it has some interesting elements such as the power meter which can be upgraded to become more powerful.

You can also upgrade you weapon which makes can make it a very addictive game if you get into it.

You can also use a number of spells that will help you through your journey and killing your enemies.

However, the fact that you can easily fall into the pits when you got hit by an enemy is enough for me to stop playing this game as soon as I am getting annoyed.
