Asma’s father, sole breadwinner, lost his life in Ali Factory Fire (Karachi, 2012). ‘Her father always wanted Asma to get educated’, her mother said, holding back tears. ‘I am so happy now that she goes to office and has a proper job’. ILO (GE4DE) helped Asma get trained in office management and procedures. Gender is not a battle of the sexes, its about equal opportunities. Empowering Women is Empowering Humanity.
