Description

I am from books and thoughts,
Both great and troublesome.
I am from the stories that I see.
I'm from the melody of beautiful strings,
And a knowing person of many great things.
I am from the theater of many actions
And the smell that makes my mind wonders and imagine.

I'm from the glory of courts that shoot shots high,
The precious scenery that fills me up with pride.
I'm from the bushes and the trees,
Very pretty but strong as me.
I'm from the flowers that are soft and sweet,
And from a mind who thinks talk is cheap.
I'm from the great songs with soul,
And one powerful hand only He can hold.

I'm from two kingdoms,
Both North and South.
I'm from my grandmother,
That's without doubt.
I'm from the looks and skills of Cousin Vickie,
Although I never met her she's stays with me.
I'm from the emotions that Grandma Betty left,
And with the sternness the granddaddy gave.
I'm from mustard greens with mac and cheese,
To the shoebox and journals that keeps my need.
I'm from the past both brave and bold,
To the future in which I now hold.
